A true story of a family feud and it's more than a thriller since my own siblings stole my inheritance with ruthless greed, hid my mother’s death from me, and robbed me of the final chance to see my parents—leaving me with nothing but the truth that they buried too late.

1. The last time I saw my mother:

Example Image There were six Guardia Civils in front of me, and I was starting to be scared as they had a reputation for being violent. I kept appealing to my mother to explain to them that she agreed to my being present in her house. My mother could not say a word. She was in utter shock. The police wanted me to exit the house. I was starting to be terrified. I was fifty-four years old, and I had never been in such a situation before. One Guardia Civil distracted me, and another one, measuring more than two meters, pulled me off the couch and onto the floor and jumped on me. I started screaming out of pure fear, and to calm me down, he slapped me several times across the face. I was flipped over onto my stomach, and my hands were handcuffed behind my back. I was able to turn my head towards my mother in an effort to appeal to her once more. And would you believe what happened next? I was astonished by my mother because all I could see was my 89-year-old mother hitting the Guardia Civil with an empty plastic Coca-Cola bottle. Even in this tragic moment, I could see the funny side of things. My mother’s instinct had been to defend her son!

I lost the final years I could have spent with my mother and was later disinherited.

2. Dishonesty must be fought:

Example Image My elderly mother was vulnerable and manipulated into signing a new Will in 2013 that went against my parents’ wishes of 1987. In 2026 I decided to challenge my mother's new British Will as it was signed under undue influence from my siblings.

3. The Events:

Pitch  Chronology

4. The people involved:

Example Image My father, my mother, myself (Carlos), Maria (my sister), Pedro (my brother), my sister-in-law (wife of my brother), Julio (my sister's ex-husband).

5. Background Information:

Example Image In 1952 my Spanish mother married my British father and was attributed a British passport. They left the United Kingdom in 1961 and never returned. My mother had no family or friends in Great Britain. They went to live in Spain in 1986.

In 1998, my sister married Julio, to allow him to stay in Switzerland. They divorced a couple of years later. Today, my ex-brother-in-law is a lawyer in Geneva.

6. My parents made a Spanish Will:

Example Image Their fortune was supposed to be divided between their 3 children.

7. Bank transfers into my sister's account:

Example Image My parents in 2009 still had moveable assets of CHF 319'861 in Switzerland.

As of 2008, my sister badgered my mother into transferring money into her bank account, Euros 1'300, in 2009 a total of Euros 5'600 (Euros 600, Euros 1’300, Euros 600, Euros 1’600, Euros 1’500), in 2010 a total of CHF 61'500 (CHF 22’500, CHF 15’000, CHF 17’000, CHF 7’000), in 2011 a total of CHF 10'000 (CHF 5’000, CHF 5’000), a total of CHF 15'000 in 2012 (CHF 10’000, CHF 5’000). This is only the tip of the iceberg.

8. My sister moves to Alicante:

Example Image My sister in June 2010 had already acquired CHF 20'600 before she installed herself in my parents' house in Alicante in June 2010. These transfers of money were a sign that my sister had already started getting her hands on my mother's inheritance. Already, at an early stage my sister was manipulating our mother.

9. My sister is transferring money in 2011:

Example Image In 2011 I ask my sister to stop transferring my mother's money into her own account and to stop manipulating my mother.

10. Expenses and income of my mother:

My mother received a pension of about CHF 530 from the «State Pension and Widows Benefits» of the United Kingdom.

Example Image In a letter from 2024 from the Swiss pension scheme AVS, I discovered that my mother was receiving CHF 760 each month. Knowing that my mother was not paying any medical insurance (as in Spain it is free), was living in a house without any rent, did not have a car, never left her property, lived in the countryside, never went to the restaurant and got all her food delivered, her pension was more than enough to live correctly in Alicante for two persons. The movable assests of my mother in her 2009 Swiss tax declaration was CHF 319'861. In 2012 all my mother's accounts were closed, and the money was transferred into my sister's account. The amount of CHF 319'861 was never used for my mother's upkeep. Without realizing it, my mother had donated CHF 319,861 to my sister. My sister quickly transferred all the money to her own account to avoid it being inherited by other members of the family in case my mother suddenly passed away.

11. My father saves my mother's life:

Example Image My mother at the age of 86 collapsed in June 2010 in her countryside house in Alicante. My father was able to call the ambulance and saved my mother's life. My mother was urgently hospitalized in Alicante where they discovered she was suffering from colon cancer. She could die at any moment.

My father who was 87 years old had Alzeimher's disease. He was in good physical health (video 11 secs  translation) and still had quite a few quality years in front of him. In June 2010 I went to Alicante to lookafter him. While I was there, he was in perfect physical health.

12. Why my father had to die before my mother:

Example Image If my mother should have passed away before my father then my sister would have been unable to make my father, sign a continous flow of bank transfers in her favor or to sign a new will where she appeared as the only person inheriting his property, because my sister could not have argued that my father was fully capable of understanding the consequences of the decisions that he was taking.

13. My sister sends my father to an old age home:

Example Image My sister, my brother and my sister-in-law in July 2010 decided to put my father into a Spanish old age home, even though that he was still in good physical health and could look after himself. My father could not speak Spanish, and the staff could not speak English. Under these conditions, my father could not be well looked after. My sister, my brother and my sister-in-law never informed me that my father was being interned at the old age home to avoid me from resisting his eviction from his house.

14. My parents had a very close relationship:

Example Image Example Image My parents were always joking (video 11 secs) with each other. My mother was too sick in 2010 to take the decisison to send my father to the old age home. Furthermore, if one considers that it was my father who saved my mother's life in June 2010, then it would be rather cynical to claim that she took this decision by herself. If she had been in a healthy condition to react, she would have opposed this decision because she had a lot of love and gratitude towards my father. During this period my mother was taking a lot of medicine each day like Nexium, Pravastatina, Sortis, Detrusitol and sleeping pills (Dalmadorm). There are certain secondary effects like memory loss and confusion which did not predispose her to make such important decisions. If my mother had not been in a confused state of mind and distress, and under the domination of my sister, she would have warned me that my siblings were putting my father into an old age home. Considering my mother's physical and mental weakness due to her hospitalisation, it was easy for my sister to coerce my mother to sign papers to send my father to the old age home.

15. My father was still mobile and active:

Example Image My father loved his house in the countryside of Alicante where he had been living for the last 23 years. He was still working in his garden. As a true British person, he was looking after his cats (video 62 secs) and dogs (video 11 secs) with passion. His animals were an excellent therapy for him. It has been scientifically proved that pets have a positive effect for people suffering from dementia. He had his well-ordered life and could find his way around his secured property that he knew backwards. He still recognized me and my mother.

Example Image My father was still able to communicate, was mobile (video 11 secs) and did not need any particular care. In 2010 he was still capable of taking the phone to warn me that my mother, had fallen and organize her rescue. The fact of taking my father away from his environment could only have a negative impact on his health and put him on the fast track towards his death.
My father died four months after his internment at the old age home. He let himself die because he had no reason to continue living. He stopped eating and no longer wanted to get out of his bed. My father went on a hunger strike and would eat only lemon yogourts. My sister, only wanted to look after my mother’s survival to satisfy her financial ambitions.

16. Money was available to look after my father:

Example Image There was CHF 319'861 that was available to look after him, in a dignified way. It was never explained why the money that was used at the old age home could not have been used to employ a person to look after my father, in his own home had he really needed any care. My sister, never got on with my father as he was the one that always had stopped my sister from dominating my mother.

17. My father is sent to the hospital:

Example Image On the 20th of October 2010 he was admitted because he had abdominal pains. The doctoresse noted that my father, was in general good health, conscious and orientated. Seeing the good physical shape of my father, it is not possible to find any valid justification that led my brother, my sister-in-law and my sister to put my father into an old age home.

18. No PEG for my father:

Example Image On the 20th of October 2010 and on the 5th of December 2010 my father had the possibility of having a PEG inserted (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) which is a feeding tube.

October 2013, I ask my mother about the moment my father passed away. «Well there was a moment you were at the hospital with my sister, and you decided to take him off the machines that were keeping him alive (video 92 secs  translation). In this way he was no longer able to absorb food, so he died», my mother answers «What is all this about?». My mother is not at all aware in the way that my father passed away. It was my sister who decided to put an end to my father's life, by depriving him of a PEG. It is not surprising that my sister never wanted to tell me how my father died.

My mother had been in the same situation as my father, since she was not able to swallow anything in 2010 because of her colon cancer. The only difference being that my sister did everything necessary to keep my mother alive.

19. My sister gets power of attorney on bank accounts on October 2010:

Example Image My sister coerced my father to sign a document giving her power of attorney, on the 29 November 2010 while he was agonizing and weak by his loss of 15 kilos and feeling depressed in his old age home.

In 2010 my sister had already control over my parents bank accounts in Switzerland and in Spain. The power of attorney over my mother's bank accounts was obtained in 2010 while she was heavily sedated and suffering from her colon cancer.

20. My father dies on the 15th of January 2011:

Example Image

In 2011, my mother aged 87 years old, had an operation for her colon cancer.

21. My ex-brother-in-law starts working for my siblings:

Swiping keys from my parents flat On the 31st of January 2011, 15 days after my father passed away, I received an email from my brother telling me that I had to give all my keys of my mother's flat in Geneva to my ex-brother-in-law.

On the 28th of February 2011 my sister stated that my ex-brother-in-law had offered his professional help. This was very suspicious as for the last 15 years I had been looking after all my parent's affairs in Geneva as I was only living 200 meters away.

22. My sister is emotionally blackmailing my mother:

In 2011 my sister was putting extreme pressure on my mother and dictating her life. In a letter to my mother, I complain that she could no longer take any free decisions.

23. My sister does not look after her parents for free:

My sister pressured my mother to write a letter that she was receiving a salary to look after our parents. This contradicts the declarations that she made during the hearing on the 4th of February 2014 at the Ministry of Justice in Geneva where she said that she had given up professional activity in Geneva to look after her parents as a devoted daughter working for free. Yet the first thing that my sister did was to put my father into an old age home.

Example Image Even though she was working, she was forcing her mother to give her money between 2008 and 2010.

24. I visit my mother in Alicante in February 2012:

My sister tried to force my mother to make me leave the house. On the 5th of February 2012 at 22h my sister called the police and accused me of breaking the telephone cable. In front of the police, my mother denied these accusations which ended up with my sister leaving the house with the police. My sister did not return home from the 5th to the 13th of February 2012 to emotionally blackmail her mother «if you let Carlos stay here then I will go away and no longer look after you». Already in February 2012 my sister was trying to isolate my mother to make it easier for her to manipulate.

27. My sister makes a complaint at the police station in Alicante:

Example Image Without my knowledge, my sister filed a complaint against me on the 6th of February 2012 and requested a restraining order.

In her statement to the police, she declares that she did not want to tell me in what circumstances my father died and that I had accused her of being responsable for my father's death.

This deposition reflects how each time my sister stages her complaints to the police it is with the intention to mislead them. In her statement she says that I am a manipulator, that I am not well in my head, that I am psychologically disturbed and that she fears me. The tactic of my brother, my sister and my sister-in-law was to make me look like a disturbed person that makes them scared which justifies them to call the police when ever I would appear.

Example Image My sister had two qualified coaches to help her through the process of stealing my mother's estate. Her ex-husband, the lawyer and my sister-in-law who is a well-known self-employed psychiatrist in Geneva at the head of a small practice of psychiatrists. The deposition of February 2012 ressembles nearly word for word the exchange my sister-in-law had with my wife in April 2012.

25. The notary comments that it is my sister that is pulling the strings:

«I must inform you that I have had no further contact with either your mother or your sister, except that your mother refuses to pay the invoice I sent her for all the work I have done for this estate. I am therefore forced to question the good faith of both your mother and your sister, the latter appearing to be pulling the strings».

26. My sister harms my mother:

During my visit in February 2012 my sister ripped off the scarf that was wrapped around my mother's neck, to stop her from leaving the house. In a letter to my mother on the 14th of April 2012 I come back on this incident. I comment that I am shocked by the violence of my sister and that I am sad to see the pain in my mother's eyes and that she looked terrified. My sister never refuted the agression described in my letter.

28. My siblings in 2012 were already planning the new will for 2013:

Example Image On the 13th of March 2012 my mother signed a letter that allowed my brother to terminate her flat lease in Geneva. My mother never warned me about this letter, yet for more than 15 years I had been looking after all my parents financial and private affairs in Geneva which made the letter very suspicious! This is the perfect example where my mother was acting under undue influence!

In the letter it is written «I am leaving my belongings as a donation and not as an advance on the future inheritance, these personal objects mentionned in point 2, must be distributed to my children Pedro, Maria and Carlos using the annexed distribution list». It appears that my mother already knew in 2012 that she was going to make a British Will in favor of my sister in 2013. Thereby she was preemptively making sure that I could not dispute the future Will by saying that I had received part of the inheritance and that the Will was in contradiction with previous acts. It does not seem credible that my mother would have planned this long-term strategy.

My siblings knew that I wanted my parents to return to Geneva to their flat. My parents needed to be surrounded by their family in Geneva. I had already visited an old age home in 2009 which was three hundred meters away from their flat. This was the ideal solution, but it would have meant that my parents would have one moment had to sell their house in Spain to finance the old age home and in Switzerland this is quite expensive. It would also have probably meant that we would never have inherited any money at all. On the 2nd of May 2012 my brother tried with two of his friends to forcibly empty the last things remaining objects in my parent’s flat. It needed the intervention of the police to separate us. It was recognized that I was the person looking after my parents flat and I kept the keys of my parent’s flat. The lies that were expressed in the forged letter of the 18th of July 2012 were needed to sustain my sibling’s objectives and not my mother’s. In a video of October my mother denies having written this letter. My sibling’s needed my mother to leave Switzerland if they wanted to successfully isolate her in her house in Alicante.

29. I ask that my advance on payments made for my mother be reimbursed:

Example Image As I realise that my sister was emptying my mother's accounts, I ask to be reimbursed for the advance payments  (translation) I had made for my parents during the last 10 years in Geneva. My father had always been reimbursing me on a regular basis, but when he started having Alzeihmer's disesase it became less frequent. My siblings never contested the amount owed but decided to never reimburse me. My siblings had their objective which was to transfer all my mother's money into my sister's account and keep everything for themselves.

30. I visit my mother in Alicante in April 2012:

Example Image On the 15th avril 2012 I visit my mother. After 2 minutes of waiting for the door to open, my mother says to me «Come in. Aie Yai Yai. She is having a fit. Your sister did not want me to let you in» (video 35 secs   translation). My sister raises her voice in an impressive manner and gives orders «mother, you are going to call the police, please. I told you not to let him into this house» and «mother, you are going to get him out of here.» (video 57 secs  translation) and «if you want to protect me then tell the police that they must ask him to leave» (video 77 secs  translation). My mother answers very clearly that she would never do such a thing and that my sister is fully aware of this. My sister gives orders like if she was the owner of the house. She tries to dominate my mother, but my presence stops her from succeeding. My mother does not believe that my sister needs to be protected.

Example Image On the 15th of April 2012 my mother asks my sister to not call the police «Do not do that Maria. Do not make them come here» (video 113 secs  translation) but my sister ignores her mother and still calls the police (video 150 secs  translation). When my sister is upset, she is scary and does not hesitate to put her threats into action. My sister lies to the police to convince them to come by telling them that I am completely crazy. Once more she uses the same tactic.

My mother tells me several times that my sister thinks that I am the devil. I ask my mother if she loves me to which she answers, yes (video 30 secs  translation). I ask her if she is absolutely sure to which she answers, yes. I even ask my mother if there is anything that I have done to her to displease her, to which she answers, no. I have a very close relationship with my mother.

31. My sister admits that my mother wants me to stay:

Example Image My sister says to my brother in Geneva «Yes, I called the Guardia Civil. They are coming. Actually, it is mother who does not want Carlos to leave (video 19 secs  translation). That is the problem». My sister admits that it is my mother's decision, yet, in the following months my sister lies and says that it is my mother's decision to not see me. The phone conversation between my brother and my sister shows to what extent they were working closely together.

My mother had to obey my sister's orders, under the threat that she could lose her help. My sister clearly emotionally blackmails my mother when she says to her «Alright, then it will be I who will leave» (video 77 secs  translation). To me, my sister says «No you stay here. You look after mum». My sister repeats the same tactic as in February 2012.

My sister is a person that has tantrums, who is authoritarian, who makes emotional blackmail, who lies, who insists relentlessly until she eventually gets what she wants.

32. My mother endures harassement from my brother:

Example Image My brother in the video 200 secs  (translation) of the 15th of April 2012 harasses my mother. It is my brother who also wants to call the police in Alicante from Geneva against the wishes of my mother. My brother acts just like my sister, he exhausts my mother with a continual flow of words, he tries to break down her resistance, to make her give in, to put her under his domination.

Example Image For 3 minutes and 20 seconds my mother must listen to my brother on the phone as she is too kindhearted to tell him to leave her alone. In the video 200 secs  (translation), he tries during a long period of time to persuade my mother that I am hurting her. My mother answers «He is not treating me badly». The expressions on my mother's face shows that she is tired, irritated and upset by his insistance. My sister and my brother apply a form of psychological torture and brainwashing to coerce my mother to obey them. My mother is 88 years old, so when I am not present to give her moral support, my siblings' method works.

Each sibling wants to call the police in the hope of seperataing me from my mother. The video shows that my brother and my sister actively planning this.

33. My sister lies to the police:

Example Image In the video of the 15th of April 2012 my sister calls the police and says «Now, he is like crazy», «He is crazy. Completely crazy», «He is uncontrollable», but the video 150 secs  (translation) does not sustain her accusations at all. As usual she lies and manipulates the police.

34. I try to solve current problems with my siblings:

Example Image «I undertsand today that both of you have been scheming behind my back…I think that we can still put things right before things get completely out of hand. We just have to sit down together and talk like normal human beings»

35. I try to understand the conspiracy of my siblings:

Example Image On the 15th of April, I send an email to my ex-brother-in-law, and I ask him if he is the lawyer of my brother and my sister. My ex-brother-in-law never answers my email.

On April 16, 2012, my sister pressed charges against me once more in Alicante for stealing documents that my mother had given me on the previous day. My sister explains in the police report that "...he could leave for Switzerland at any moment and that he was taking these documents with him in order to report her in Geneva, as he had threatened to do so on other occasions".

36. My sister moves my mother from her house in Alicante to Geneva in 2012:

Example Image On the 17th of April 2012, my sister, my sister-in-law and my brother kidnapped my mother. My sister moved my mother away from her usual place of residence in Alicante to Geneva where she was kidnapped for four months. It became impossible for me to see or communicate with my mother.

On April 19, 2012, I asked my siblings to stop preventing me from seeing my mother.

On April 21, 2012, I sent an email to my brother "If you have any information on their whereabouts then please let me know immediately". He does not answer me, even though he knows where my sister and mother are.

On the 23rd of April, I send an email to my ex-brother-in-law «If you know where is my mother I beg you to tell me». Once more he never answers my email, even though he knows full well where my sister and mother are hiding.

I contact Fedpol because my mother would never disappear out of her own free will without informing me.

37. I ask my siblings to stop torturing my mother:

Example Image On the 14th of July 2012 I ask my siblings to stop making my mother suffer and create stress for her. I tell them that they have succeeded in making my mother so sick that she had to go to the hospital to be treated. I ask them to rethink their financial ambitions.

38. My sister is violent with my mother in Geneva:

Example Image On the 15th of July 2012 I go to my sister's studio in Geneva since I am searching for my mother. I can hear my mother say «HELP» because she was suffering physical violence from my sister. My mother, after having suffered abuse from my sister, told the genevese police that she did not want to see me. This incident was cited when I pressed charges in Geneva in February 2013 against my siblings. My sister never refuted the fact that my mother cried out for help.

39. My brother and sister create a fake letter on July 18, 2012:

Example Image This unsigned letter that was supposed to have been written by my mother. This letter was sent to the courts in Geneva in July 2012 when the restraining order was filed against me. In this fabricated letter one can read «Your violent character and your excessive reactions make me scared and in the interest of everyone it is best that you keep away from me, but also from my brother and my sister who you did not hesitate to agress physically». In October 2013 (video 41 secs  translation) my mother said that she had never written such a letter (video 63 secs  translation) and «Quite frankly, if that was the case then I cannot remember it at all». But, my mother did not have a memory problem. She was just manipulated into signing a document of power of attorney for a lawyer and my siblings used it to used it to achieve their personal objectives.

My mother laughs at the idea that I may have hit my brother (video 34 secs  translation). Her reaction severely contrasts with what she was supposed to have written in this fake letter.

My brother presents on the 4th of February 2014 to the Swiss prosecutor this fake letter. He gives a confused explanation by saying «For example, I can show you this letter written on the 18th of July 2012 by my mother that was sent to Carlos. I would like to inform you that this letter was written by my lawyer, who wrote it in the presence of my mother. …. As you can see, it is my mother that does not want to have any contact with my brother. I think that she must also think he is too violent and intimidating».

40. My brother and my sister ask for a restraining order in Geneva:

Example Image My mother, my brother, my sister and my sister-in-law used this fake letter in the Genevese courts in July 2012 when they filed a court case against me «Request for an urgent restraining order». Their request to get an urgent restaining order succeeded in the initial phase and I was not allowed to approach my mother during the next four months whilst she was in Geneva in 2012. The tone of this fictious request from my mother constrasts sharply with the time that I saw her on the 15th of April 2012 (video 35 secs  translation).

41. How my brother and sister profited from my mother's emotional weakness:

Example Image My siblings write in their document of July 2012 addressed to the Swiss judge that "Carlos (me) also attempts to target his mother, who, clearly in a state of emotional weakness, finds herself forced to do or say things against her will, which is particularly disturbing for her". It is through there own admission that they are explaining how they got my mother to sign so many documents and do so many things that were against her will. My mother was under the control of my siblings from the 17th of April 2012 until she passed away in 2022. They are admitting that my mother was under an emotional state of weakness (video 57 secs  translation) when she was enduring my sister's tantrums which explains why my mother against her consent, signed under duress a Will making my sister the unique heiress and made a donation of her property to my sister a year later.

It's contradictory that one moment my mother calls for help, and the next she says she doesn't want to see me without explaining why. My mother was clearly in a state of emotional vulnerability and said things against her will to the police. But they are forgetting the fact that it was only my sister standing next to my mother when the police came to talk to her.

42. Numerous court cases were dismissed against me in 2012:

Example Image My sister and my brother relentessly filed court cases in Switzerland and Spain in 2012 but never with any proof. This tactic had only one objectif which was to keep me away from my mother. Each time these court cases against me were dismissed (Switzerland 1) and (Switzerland 2) and Spain.

43. I press charges for kidnapping and breach of trust in Geneva in 2013:

Example Image Back in 2011, I wrote a letter to my siblings asking them to stop their shady dealings because I noticed that my sister was manipulating my mother's finances. I had a deep feeling that my sister wanted to get her hands on my mother's property but I had no proof. In the video (57 secs)  (translation) of April 2012 I ask my sister if the house is in her name. She does not answer me. In my complaint of February 2013 I write "It is highly likely that my sister will ask my mother to put the house in Alicante in her name. Under these circumstances, I would no longer have any hope of ever seeing my mother again in her house in Alicante". This is exactly what happened with the donation of 2014.

44. My sister slaps my mother in 2013:

Example Image On the 27th of June 2013 I try to visit my mother in Alicante. From the road I call my mother who was in the kitchen of her house, and I ask her to open the gate. My mother who agreed to do this did not have the time to react when my sister appeared and slapped my mother who then nearly lost her balance. My sister quickly made her leave the kitchen to stop me from continuing to talk to her. The police came and my mother unsuprisingly told them that she did not want to see me. I reported this incident to the Ministry of Justice in Geneva, and I sent a copy of the letter to my sister. She never denied the agression described in my letter.

45. My mother signs a new Will in 2013:

Example Image Without my knowledge, on the 17th of July 2013 my sister put together a new Will that she coerced my mother to sign and where she was chosen as being the only person to inherit my mother's assets. My ex-brother-in-law was appointed as the person to inherit in case that my sister passed away before my mother. My mother had no reason to disinherit me and had no affinity or contact with my ex-brother-in-law whom she had met only a few times in her life. The 15th of April 2012 video (35 secs)  (translation) shows that my mother and I have a very close relationship, yet none of those feeling are reflected in the Will. The Will contradicts completely the feelings that my mother had for me.

46. I visit my mother in October 2013 for just an evening:

Example Image October 2013 I see my sister in Geneva. I decide to leave immediately for Alicante to see my mother. I succeed to see her one evening before getting arrested by the police. I film my mother where she speaks to me freely and without pressure.

47. My mother denies signing a new Will in 2013:

Example Image In October 2013 my mother, replied to the question «Have you made another Will» (video 6 secs  translation) by «I did not do one at all». My mother tells me this three months after signing a British will where she gave everything to my sister. My mother's mental health was very good at the age of 89 and she was not suffering from dementia or having memory problems. For the last three years my mother had been under the domination of my sister. My mother depended on my sister for her everyday survival. She had no means of communication (phone or mail) and was unable to leave her own property. She was also isolated in the Alicante countryside and feared that my sister would be violent with her. My mother had no choice but to sign the Will which knew was unfair and would create dissension but could not face the reality of the situation. She did not consent to this Will but feared expressing this in case of reprisals. So, she signed the Will and then obliterated it out of her mind. She did not impregnate this event in her mind so that she would not have to think of it anymore. On the moment of signing the Will she was no longer in contact with reality and suffered impaired judgment. This is how my mother coped when faced with pressure from my sister to do things that were against her will. It was impossible for the notary to notice that my mother was suffering from a certain medical condition brought by years of badgering.

The fact that my mother stated she didn't remember signing the will can be explained by well-known psychological mechanisms linked to extreme trauma. This phenomenon is called traumatic amnesia. When a person experiences very intense stress (repeated violence, fear for their life, etc.), the brain can protect itself by "cutting off" part of the memory. The person may have a "blackout" regarding certain events. It's not uncommon for the brain to enter a state of shock (as if paralyzed), which prevents it from normally registering events. Dissociation can act "like on autopilot." My mother signed a will without being fully aware of her action. This mechanism serveed to protect herself from unbearable suffering.

48. My mother did not know what a British Will implied:

Example Image In the video of October 2013, I explain to my mother that she can make a British Will in Spain (video 75 secs  translation) where she can give everything to just one person. I ask her if she is aware of this. She replies that «Now that you have told me that, yes». So, when she signed her Will three months earlier, she hadn't understood that she was giving her entire fortune to my sister. My mother had no family or affinity with Britain and definitely did not know their laws. There is no reason for my mother to have choosen British law if she did not know the effect of it. My mother's wish to divide her assets among all her children was clearly expressed in her 1987 Spanish Will. Spain was the country where she had lived for the last 36 years of her life and she was Spanish born. On the other hand, my sister was very aware of the effects of choosing British law even though she had never lived in the United Kingdom and was the only person that could have been the author of my mother's will.

My mother never understood the complexity and implications between the British Will and the Spanish donation. The creation of the Will could not have been made by a request from my mother as she had already looked after this matter in 1987. She was not motivated to favor my sister, who prevented my mother from seeing me and her grandchildren during the last 12 years of her life.

My brother is not mentionned in the will from the 17th of July 2013 and it appears that he was also disinherited. In 2022 when my mother passed away my brother never went to the notary to see what was in the will because he already knew the content from 2013.

49. My mother thinks she has no money:

Example Image My mother thinks that my sister is managing her money. She also thinks that she has no money which is contradictory. I ask the question «Do you know how much money you have?» (video 35 secs  translation) and my mother answers «I think I do not have any» Yet, she has over CHF 300'000. My sister shows my mother, receipts from the bank that shows she has a balance of 12 euros. She had no means to communicate with the exterior world to verify if this was truly the case. By making my mother believe that she did not have any money, it stopped her from using it freely. She could no longer reimburse me the money that she owed. The Migros bank shows that my mother's accounts had been closed in 2012. My mother was under the financial control of my sister.

50. My mother wants to reimburse me two debts:

Example Image My mother would like to reimburse me two debts (video 49 secs  translation) of a total of CHF 50'000. When I ask my mother «If I ask you to reimburse my money, would you agree to do so» she answers «Listen, if I have the money then I completely agree to do so» (video 34 secs  translation). The determination of my mother to pay me back underlines the fact that she would never have disinherited me had her will been respected. My sister is aware of the amounts that my mother owes me and is determined not to respect my mother's wishes. My mother declares herself as being an honest person. This is yet another reason to keep me away from my mother. Debt of my mother of CHF 20'000

51. My mother is not scared of me:

Example Image My mother says very clearly that she is not scared of me «Ouff…why» and « I am not scared of you» (video 67 secs  translation). She says this in a way which allows us to joke about it. These declarations contradict completely her alleged letter dated 18th of July 2012 when she states, «Your violent character and over reaction make me scared and therefore it is in the interest that you stay away from me but also from your brother and your sister who you did not hesitate to physically agress». My mother is not the author of this letter from the 18th of July 2012.

52. My mother cannot remember asking for a restraining order:

Example Image My mother says, «But how could I have done that?» (video 41 secs  translation) and «Quite frankly, if that was the case then I cannot remember it at all» (video 63 secs  translation). My mother cannot remember taking a lawyer against me. Therefore, she did not participate in the request of a restraining order in July 2012.

Example Image My mother says «It is not possible» that she never wrote any letter on the 18th of July 2012 (video 41 secs  translation) and «You have to show me that. I am... me sign a document that I did not want to see you!». My mother refutes categorically having written such a letter saying that she did not want to see me. Therefore, the document giving power of attorney, which was obtained under false pretenses, was given to the lawyer to make my mother part of the restarining order. This fraudelent letter was given to the judge. These documents had the objective of giving the impression to the judge that it was my mother who decided that she did not want to see me. I ask my mother «Do you know mum that you took a lawyer against me?» to which my mother answers «Not true» (video 63 secs  translation). My mother confirms the document giving power of attorney was obtained without her knowledge since she never hired a lawyer to request a restraining order against me.

53. My mother cannot phone me:

Example Image My mother says that she did not dare phone me «Because I was scared that someone would tell me that you were not there» (video 80 secs  translation). My mother doesn't want to admit to herself that her own daughter, prevented her from calling me. Facing this reality is too painful for my mother. What had my sister been telling my mother to stop her from phoning me?

54. My mother's brain does not record unpleasant memories:

Example Image My mother cannot remember that she was in Geneva in 2012 (video 31 secs  translation) where for four months she was withheld against her will in my sister's studio. She does not know why she has not telephoned me (portable phone has no credit and the landline has been removed). She can not remember telling the Guradia Civil (video 47 secs  translation) that she did not want to see me in June 2013. She cannot remember that I tried to see her and was not successful. She cannot remember signing a new Will etc.... My mother put all these traumatic events out of her head to avoid dealing with them.

55. My mother can remember pleasant souvenirs that make her happy:

Example Image She remembers very well her grandchildren (video 22 secs  translation) and would have liked to see them, but my sister stopped this from happening.

56. Difficulty to understand mixing British and Spanish laws:

Example Image My mother, says about decisions that she needs to take «If I did it in the past, I would no longer risk doing it now because I have no memory, I do not have all my faculties» (video 40 secs  translation). She cannot understand the consequences of first writing a British Will where everything is bequeathed to my sister, and then a year later a Spanish bequest of her house which has the effect of excluding her house from the will and leaving it completely empty? The complexity of mixing British and Spanish laws in this domain is difficult to understand for most people.

57. My mother does not know my sister is in Geneva:

Example Image My mother does not know that my sister is in Geneva (video 45 secs  translation) even though my sister phones her every day on her mobile phone.

58. Renovations around the property:

Example Image My sister installed higher gates as well as a wall 2m50 high around the property with the objective of stopping anyone from removing my mother from her property. My mother cannot remember that she had asked for any work (video 88 secs  translation) to be done, since she says, «What was there to be done again, I cannot remember». My sister used my mother's money to upgrade the future property that she was going to inherit.

59. My mother is looking for the gate keys:

Example Image My mother starts looking for several minutes for the keys of the gate leading to the road that she thought she was in possession of, but without any success. My mother says «The keys to the gate. (video 54 secs  translation) I think so. I do not know. I do not know». My mother could go out into the garden but not outside her property.

60. My mother fears my sister:

Example Image My mother asks «If your sister phones (video 101 secs  translation) and I tell her that you are here she will phone the police so that they can fetch you here». I ask my mother «Do you allow me to stay here?» to which she answers «Yes, of course». On that note I say «So, if she calls the police where is the problem?». My sister scares my mother. My mother seems to have forgotten for a moment that it is her house and that she is the person that decides who can stay or not. She knows my sister's habit of calling the police. My mother is very aware of my sister's tactics but is too scared to react against her.

61. My mother does not want to call the police:

Example Image My mother says very clearly that she does not want to call the police and specifies that there is no necessity to do so. I ask the question «Do you agree that we call the Guardia Civil?» (video 70 secs  translation) to which my mother answers «No, what for?». Yet, soon afterwards, My sister calls the Guardia Civil (police) from Switzerland and tells them that I am agressing my mother. This is yet another incident where my sister decides against my mother's wishes to call the police who is unable to make herself obeyed in her own home.

I ask my mother in a video “If I leave here again and come back, and someone calls the police, are you going to tell the police that you don't want to see me? She answers, absolutely not (video 20 secs  translation).

My sister calls the police in Spain from Switzerland and declares that there is a restraining order against me. There is no mention in the Alicante police report that my mother had been agressed or that there is an ongoing restraining order against me.

During my arrest I suffered an injury to my neck, and I lost consciousness while I was incarcerated in the prison cell. The Spanish judge dismissed the charges against me.

62. The police report tells the truth:

Example Image My sister kept stating that it was my mother who did not want to see me which is in contradiction with the police report where it is clearly stated that it is my sister that does not want that I stay in my mother's house, and she adds once more that she is scared for the safety of my mother. The videos show that I would never have attacked my mother. During those years Spain was very active in protecting women that were beaten up by their male companions. My sister used this information to manipulate the police into quickly reacting to any calls where a woman was in danger of being agressed by a man.

63. My mother wants to give me power of attorney:

Example Image My mother said that she agreed to give me power of attorney over her bank accounts (video 30 secs  translation). But in the past each time that my mother had given me power of attorney it was immediately taken away once my sister found out.

64. My mother's landline phone has been confiscated:

Example Image In the video 201 secs  (translation) of the 15th of April 2012, one can notice that my mother is using a phone on her left-hand side. My mother is disturbed that her landline telephone has disappeared. My mother says «we do not have a phone that rings (video 23 secs  translation). I have a sort of thing. In all circumstances there is not a phone». My sister has eliminated the landline but has left a mobile phone with no credit. In this way, my sister when she was in Switzerland, could phone her mother in Alicante, but my mother, was not able to phone anyone. Her mobile number was 0034672527004. I phoned my mother 17 times after the 27th of October 2013, but my mother was never able to phone me back. The fact that my mother could not communicate with the outside world shows that she really was kidnapped in her own home. When my sister discovered that I was phoning my mother, she changed the SIM card.

65. The neighbor states to the police that my mother cannot leave her property:

Example Image The neighbor José, who knew my mother very well for more than 23 years, declared to the police in October 2013 that my mother had told him, that she wanted to go out of her property but that she could not do so. My mother was definitey a prisoner in her own property.

66. My mother lives isolated in the countryside:

Example Image My mother was living in isolation in the countryside. It is my sister that goes into the nearby village to fetch the mail. My sister controls the mail that my mother can send or receive. There was not any form of communication available to my mother. My mother was in total isolation in the countryside without any direct neighbours.

67. My mother was a prisoner in her own house:

Example Image She depended on my sister to be cared for. My sister was the only person that she had as company between 2010 and 2022. My mother was living at my sister's mercy. My mother was worried that she might be abandonned. She did not support the agressivity of my sister. The settings were ideal to force my mother to sign any document that was presented to her even though that it might be to her detriment or to the ones that she loved.

After the 27th of October 2013 I never succeeded to see my mother again.

69. My mother depends on my sister to survive:

Example Image My sister stated on the 4th of Februry 2014 at the Ministry of Justice in Geneva «When I am absent from Spain, I hire a lady to look after my mother. My mother is relatively autonomous, but she needs someone for her meals, for the house cleaning, to accompany her to the shower. Considering her condition, I prefer that she is always accompanied, I prefer she is accompanied when she leaves the house». My mother was completely dependant on my sister to stay in her house in Spain. My sister succeeded in pressurizing her mother psychologicaly. The underlining message was always «Either you accept to sign the documents I put in front of you or otherwise I will abandon you. Since you cannot survive witout me, I will also send you to the old age home» my sister did exercise coercion and blackmail on my mother.

70. I want to drug my mother:

Example Image In the fake document of 18th of July 2012, created by my sister, my brother and my sister-in-law wrote that I wanted to drug my mother. My sister on the 4th of Februry 2014 repeated once more this lie to the prosecutor by saying «Carlos has this fixed idea to bring back my mother to Switzerland, even though she had clearly stated that she wanted to live in Spain. Not so long ago my mother told me that Carlos said that if he wanted to, he could drug her and bring her back to Switzerland against her will».

71. My mother donates her assets to my sister:

Example Image On the 17th of November 2014 my mother donates her property to my sister. This goes against her determination to reimburse me two debts. She never had any intention of trying to escape these debts by donating her property to my sister. Furthermore, my mother had made it very clear in the videos that she would not ever do anything to stop me from seeing her, so she would never have donated her property under her free will knowing that my sister would never allow me to set foot inside her property. My mother effectively signed the donation under undue influence.

On the 19th of November 2014, my mother went in front of a Spanish judge and declared through a lawyer recruted by my sister that she did not want to see me. This contradicts once more her declarations made one year previously in 2013 when she says that she would never do anything to stop me from seeing her (video 41 secs  translation).

72. I file a request to sequester my mother's assets:

Example Image Knowing that my sister had not allowed my mother to repay her debts, I file a request for seizure of my mother's assets. I discovered that in 2012 all my mother's bank accounts were emptied. The shares and bonds from the Migros bank were no longer part of my mother's assets in 2012. My mother never objected to the seizure. She never contested the amounts demanded from her. My sister was managing my mother's finances, and she never paid my mother's debts as had been the wish of my mother. Once more, my sister prevented my mother from paying her debts. My mother was an honest person (video 34 secs  translation). The debt currently amounts to CHF 116,815, including late payment of interest.

73. My mother dies in October 2022:

Example Image My sister-in-law, my sister and my brother do not inform me that my mother has passed away and do not send me her death certificate or my mother's Will. After the donation of 2014 the Will no longer contained anything. My sister did not have to go the notary to announce that my mother had died as she already had in hand all my mother’s assets. This strategy had the advantage of not alerting me to my mother’s death. It also underlined that my brother knew that my mother had donated her property and made a Will in favor of my sister.

74. Ambigous British Will:

Example Image On the 6th of May 2024 I discover that my mother made a new British Will in Spain on the 17th of July 2013 and by doing so, avoided the Spanish law which guarantees that heirs cannot be disinherited. The Will is ambigous because my mother did not specify which nationality, she wanted to apply to her will (English or Scottish). She has no link to Britain at all besides her passport. On the otherhand she was Spanish and had been living in Spain for the last 36 years which made her far closer to have Spanish law apply to her Will.

75. The case against my siblings was closed in 2015:

Example Image The case against my siblings was closed in 2015. The prosecutor in his final document said that my siblings had done the right thing to hide away my mother as they were just respecting my mother’s wishes not to see me. The proscutor had never looked at the videos as this statement completely contradicted what my mother stated. A few months later he left the Ministry of Justice. I had to wait until 2024 to have proof that my mother had made a new Will and a donation to my sister. The Will was proof that my brother and my sister had a strong motivation to keep my mother kidnapped. They needed to stop me from having contact with my mother to avoid that I discover the new Will.

76. Miscelleanous information:

The authencity of the videos can be proved because they were submitted to the Ministry of Justice in Geneva 2013.

I have been deprived of seeing father’s or mother’s ashes and allowed to grieve in dignity.

This seperation with my mother made me fall into depression in 2014.

In 2024 I wrote to my brother and suggested to divide my mother's estate in 3 but I never got a response.

The names used are all fictitious to protect the private lives of people.

77. Justice is expensive:

Example Image The legal time to act is running out, now is the moment to take action.

I am now asking for help to challenge this Will in the Spanish courts.
